I'm Dave Stratton, founder of Wanna Go Out LLC. For more than 25 years, I've had the privilege of working with dogs and their families throughout Weehawken and the surrounding communities. During that time, I've learned that there is no single approach that works for every dog. Every dog is unique, every family is different, and successful care begins with understanding both.
My philosophy has always been simple: It's About the Dog. Whether I'm providing daily walks, behavioral guidance, boarding, or helping owners better understand their dogs, my goal is to create balance, structure, and trust. When a dog's physical and emotional needs are being met, life becomes easier and more enjoyable for everyone involved.
Over the past quarter century, I've had the opportunity to care for generations of dogs, build lasting relationships with local families, and become part of a community that has supported Wanna Go Out LLC since 2001.

Dog Walking | Adventure Days | Play Groups
- •Local Dog Walks in groups of 2-3 always paired with role model dogs
- •Play Groups of 4-6 for added fun and exercise
- •Adventure Groups of 4-6 trail blazing pups. We travel, bike, hike, swim, jog or just plain walk. Show me a well adjusted dog and I'll show you a dog that has a life outside a 4 block radius of it's home.
- •An active and varied schedule with balanced dogs led by consistent calm assertive energy are calmer, happier and better behaved at home.
- •Door to door delivery is provided for all services. Choose from 2 to 6 hours out and about locally or out on the trails.
Service Areas
My staff and I provide dog walking services in Weehawken, West New York & Hoboken. Training, socialization and behavioral work is available by appointment in the greater New York area. I consider it a great honor to have your trust and spend my days serving you and your dog.
